WOMEN’S
CROSS COUNTRY TAKES FIRST
AT RAY DWYER INVITATIONAL

Lincoln, RI—The
Rhode Island
College women’s cross country team took first overall at the Ray
Dwyer Invitational, hosted by RIC at the Community College of Rhode
Island, on Monday afternoon. The Anchorwomen posted a score of 25,
while Johnson and Wales came in second with a score of 32. |

Freshman Jacqueline Towle
(Swanzey, NH) was RIC’s top runner, placing second with a time
of 21:15.83. Freshman Brittany Richer (Woonsocket, RI) placed
third with a time of 21:38.10. Sophomore Katie Desrosiers
(Warwick, RI) placed fifth with a time of 22:45.76. Sophomore
Heather Feeney (Warwick, RI) placed seventh with a time of
23:16.40. Sophomore Lindsey Brisson (Coventry, RI) placed
eighth with a time of 23:27.44. Sophomore Nicole Poirier
(Concord, NH) placed ninth with a time of 23:32.14.
Senior captain Hannah
Clark (Attleboro, MA) placed 13th with a time of
26:21.61. Freshman Justyna Barlow (Foster, RI) placed 14th
with a time of 26:40.24. |
