WOMEN’S
CROSS COUNTRY PLACES SECOND
AT TRI-STATE INVITATIONAL

Lincoln, RI—The
Rhode Island
College women’s cross country team placed second (10 teams) at the
Tri-State Invitational, hosted by the Community College of Rhode
Island, on Saturday afternoon. The Anchorwomen posted a score of 88,
while WPI won the meet with a score of 34. |

Freshman Jacqueline Towle
(Swanzey, NH) was RIC’s top runner, placing fourth with a time
of 20:42.66. Freshman Brittany Richer (Woonsocket, RI) placed
14th with a time of 21:46.13. Sophomore Katie
Desrosiers (Warwick, RI) placed 24th with a time of
22:32.00. Junior Ashley Guimond (Sterling, CT) placed 25th
with a time of 22:32.50. Sophomore Heather Feeney (Warwick, RI)
placed 34th with a time of 23:21.48. Sophomore Nicole
Poirier (Concord, NH) placed 35th with a time of
23:24.23. Freshman
Justyna Barlow (Foster, RI) placed 50th with a
time of 24:31.56. Senior captain Hannah Clark (Attleboro, MA)
placed 68th with a time of 25:23.19. |
