WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY PLACES SIXTH
AT ROGER WILLIAMS INVITATIONAL

Bristol, RI—The Rhode Island College women’s cross country team placed sixth (14 teams) at the Roger Williams Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Anchorwomen posted a score of 141, while the Hawks won the meet with a score of 43.

Freshman Jacqueline Towle (Swanzey, NH) was RIC’s top runner, placing eighth with a time of 20:39.72. Freshman Brittany Richer (Woonsocket, RI) placed 17^th with a time of 21:33.94. Sophomore Heather Feeney (Warwick, RI) placed 41^st with a time of 22:48.10. Sophomore Lindsey Brisson (Coventry, RI) placed 46^th with a time of 23:08.07. Sophomore Nicole Poirier (Concord, NH) placed 47^th with a time of 23:15.63. Freshman Justyna Barlow (Foster, RI) placed 66^th with a time of 24:39.11. Senior captain Hannah Clark (Attleboro, MA) placed 70^th with a time of 24:44.75.

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at Eastern Connecticut on Saturday, Oct. 18.
