College sophomore guard Monyca Vickers (Mattapoisett, MA)
was named to the Skidmore CollegeTip-Off Tournaments All-Tournament
Team. |

|
She
was RICs leading rebounder in both of the Anchorwomens
games during the tournament, racking up seven rebounds against
host Skidmore on Nov. 17 and grabbing 11 more against Coast Guard
on Nov. 18. Vickers pumped in a team-high 22 points in the Anchorwomens
52-43 win over Coast Guard. She was third in scoring with eight
points in the Skidmore game, which Rhode Island College lost,
57-54. |

She
has played in two games, starting one of them. She is averaging
15.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game. |

|
She
is a psychology major and a 2000 graduate of Old Rochester High
School. |

|
|
Rhode
Island College finished the tournament with a 1-1 record to open
their 2001-02 campaign. The Anchorwomen have yet to face Little
East Conference competition and will host Salve Regina University
in their first home game of the season on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at
5:30 p.m. |
