RIC Announces Sixth Annual
Sports and Celebrity
Memorabilia Auction

Providence, RI--Rhode Island College will be holding its sixth annual Sports and Celebrity Memorabilia Auction on Wednesday, May 1 at the Providence Marriott beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The proceeds from the auction will go directly towards supporting programs for RIC student-athletes, particularly those involving academic support and life skills programming.

In addition to hundreds of sports and celebrity memorabilia items, there are golf days and trips to various sporting events around the country. Here are just a few of the items you can bid on: (Click on the picture to see a larger view).

Autographed, Framed 16 x 20 photo of Wayne Gretzky

Autographed photo of Yankee legends Yogi Berra and Whitey Ford

Autographed baseball signed by the famed 500 Home Run Club

Autographed basketballs Bobby Knight and Mike Krzyzewski

Autographed Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls jersey

In addition, there will be tickets to Red Sox games and many other sporting events, as well as golf outings and trips.

Other highlights include the RIC pep band, refreshments and a free gift for all in attendance.
