Collins, Pecoraro and Wells to
Captain Rhode Island College Women’s Lacrosse |

Providence, RI— Rhode
Island College junior Rachel Pecoraro (Smithfield, RI) and
sophomores Cara Collins (Johnston, RI) and Kim Wells
(Granby, CT) will captain the women’s
lacrosse team for the 2002 season. |
|
|
|
As a sophomore in 2001,
Pecoraro played in six games, starting all of them. She had four goals
and one assist for five points. She recorded 15 shots, 15 ground balls
and eight draw controls. She was second on the team in goals and
points. She is a history major and a 1999 graduate of Smithfield High
School. |

As a freshman in 2001,
Collins played in eight games, starting all of them. She had 12 ground
balls on the season. She is a graphic design major and a 1999 graduate
of La Salle Academy. |

|
|
As a freshman in 2001,
Wells played in nine games, starting all of them. She had nine shots,
12 ground balls and three draw controls. She is a 2000 graduate of
Granby High School. |
