Men’s Tennis Season Summary

(2-11 Overall; 0-3 in the Little
East Conference)

Head Coach
Kelly Lange’s Anchormen finished the season with a fourth place
(four teams) finish at the 2003 Little East Conference Championships,
hosted by RIC on May 2-3. Southern Maine took home the title with
12.50 points. RIC posted a 2-11 overall record and was 0-3 (fourth
place) in the Little East during the regular season. |

co-captain Julio Andrade (Cranston, RI) was 7-7 (.500) in
singles and 2-9 (.182) in doubles for 8.0 points on the season.
Andrade fell in the first round of both the number four singles and
number one doubles flights at the LEC Championships. |

Sean McClelland (Pawtucket, RI) was 0-1 (.000) in singles and 2-12
(.143) in doubles for 0.5 points on the season. McClelland fell in the
first round of the number two doubles flight at the LEC Championships. |
