Women’s Cross Country Update #7

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s squad did not compete as a team at the ECAC Division III Championships, hosted by Williams College on Saturday, Nov. 9. Williams College won the meet with a score of 32.

 

Freshman Bridget Hjerpe (Cranston, RI) finished 138th with a time of 28:08.

 

Junior Rebecca Horton (Seekonk, MA) placed 148th with a time of 28:25.

 

Sophomore Amanda Amend (West Warwick, RI) finished 170th with a time of 29:20.

 

Junior Michele Dunphy (Cranston, RI) placed 190th with a time of 30:30.

 

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at New England Division III Regionals, hosted by Westfield State on Saturday, Nov. 16.
