Rhode Island College Women’s Tennis Update #1

(1-2 Overall; 0-0 in the Little East Conference)

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kelly Lange’s Anchorwomen are 1-2 overall and have yet to play a Little East Conference match. RIC opened the season with losses to Bryant (9-0) on Sunday, Sept. 7 and Salve Regina (2-7) on Tuesday, Sept. 9, but rebounded to defeat Newbury College (9-0) on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Sophomore co-captain Liz Barrette (North Providence, RI) is 2-1 (.667) in singles and 2-1 (.667) in doubles for 3.0 points on the season.

Junior co-captain Meghan Mooney (North Scituate, RI) is 1-2 (.333) in singles and 2-1 (.667) in doubles for 2.0 points on the season.

Freshman Korrie Hird (North Providence, RI) is 1-2 (.333) in singles and 0-2 (.000) in doubles for 1.0 point on the season.

Senior Kristin Mandsager (Portsmouth, RI) is 1-0 (1.000) in singles for 1.0 point on the season.

Freshman Tara Marchant (North Scituate, RI) is 1-2 (.333) in singles and 0-2 (.000) in doubles for 1.0 point on the season.

Freshman Caitlin Morin (Westerly, RI) is 1-2 (.333) in singles and 0-2 (.000) in doubles for 1.0 point on the season.

Freshman Heidi Beauregard (Cumberland, RI) is 1-0 (1.000) in doubles for 0.5 points on the season.

Freshman Kerri Giorgio (Saunderstown, RI) is 0-1 (.000) in singles and 1-0 (1.000) in doubles for 0.5 points on the season.

Freshman Caitlyn Lowman (Narragansett, RI) is 1-1 (.500) in doubles for 0.5 points on the season.
