College Women’s Cross Country Update #3 |

Providence, RI-- Head
Coach Kevin Jackson’s team hosted the Ray Dwyer
Invitational on Sat. Sept. 27. The Anchorwomen did not place as a
team. Assumption College won the meet with a score of 39. |

Sophomore Kim Cadden
(Warwick, RI) was the Anchorwomen’s top runner finishing 29th
with a time of 21:28 at the Ray Dwyer Invitational. She placed 119th,
the Anchorwomen’s highest finish, with a time of 21:33 at the
UMass-Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 20. She finished fourth with a
time of 22:43 at the Ocean State Invitational on Sept. 11. |

Senior Becky Horton
(Seekonk, MA) placed 50th with a time of 22:53 at the
Ray Dwyer Invitational. She finished 164th with a time of
23:18 at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 20. She was the
Anchorwomen’s top runner placing third with a time of 22:27 at the
Ocean State Invitational on Sept. 11. |

Freshman Teresa
Kenneally (Florence, MA) placed 53rd with a time of
23:09 at the Ray Dwyer Invitational. She finished 177th
with a time of 24:31 at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational on Sept.
20. She placed sixth with a time of 25:11 at the Ocean State
Invitational on Sept. 11. |

Freshman Brandy Bates
(Cranston, RI) finished 67th with a time of 24:26 at
the Ray Dwyer Invitational. She placed fifth with a time of 24:58 at
the Ocean State Invitational on Sept. 11. |

|
In upcoming action, RIC
will compete at the Tri-State Invitational, hosted by CCRI, on
Saturday, Oct. 4. |
