Coach Kevin Jackson’s hosted the RIC Invitational on Saturday, Apr. 3.
The Anchorwomen finished sixth out of 11 teams with a score of 44.
Southern Maine won the event with a score of 168. |

Sophomore
Dana Skorupa (Cumberland,
RI)
swept her
two events finishing first in the 100 meters with a time of 13.15 and
first in the 200 meters with a time of 26.89. She placed eighth in the
200 meters with a time of 26.63. |

Junior
Kate McCalligett (Warwick,
RI)
finished second in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.90 and fourth in
the 200 meters with a time of 27.72. She placed eighth in the 400
meters with a time of 1:00.80 at the Snowflake Classic on Mar. 27. |

Freshman
Michelle Batchelder (Vernon,
CT)
placed 22nd in the 200 meters with a time of 33.24. |

Amanda Rinn (Warwick,

finished third in the pole vault with a height of 8’00’’. She placed
34th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:44.73 at the
Snowflake Classic on Mar. 27. |
