NAYLOR AND DUSABLON LEAD RIC PAST
COAST GUARD, 8-3 |

Providence, RI—Sophomore
right fielder Mike Naylor (Warwick, RI) and junior pitcher
Glenn Dusablon (North Smithfield, RI) combined to lead Rhode
Island College past the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, 8-3, in collegiate
baseball action. |

|
Naylor went 3-4 with two runs scored,
one RBI and two triples. Dusablon hurled seven strong innings,
striking out five to earn his second win (2-0) of the season. The
Anchormen scored four runs in the second inning and never looked back.
Freshman catcher Tim Henault (East Greenwich, RI) and junior
left fielder Chris Higgins (Swansea, MA) each went 2-4 with one
run scored and one RBI to aid Dusablon's cause. |

USCGA senior pitcher Matt Smith
(Napa, CA) took the loss, falling to 0-2 on the season. Junior
shortstop Nick Anderson (Westerly, RI) went 3-5 with one run,
one RBI and a home run in a losing effort. |

action, RIC will play at UMass-Dartmouth tomorrow afternoon at 3:30
p.m. |
