Providence, RI--Rhode Island College improved to 4-2 with a,
17-4, victory over visiting Elms College in collegiate women's
lacrosse action. The loss drops Elms to 2-4 on the year. |

RIC
freshman Caitlin Gavin (Portsmouth, RI) was the offensive star
with four goals and an assist for a five-point effort. Sophomore
Crystal Colagiovanni (Johnston, RI) chipped in with three goals.
Juniors Danielle Beaudry (West Greenwich, RI) and Vicki
Bilalyan (Cranston, RI), along with sophomore Danielle Egan
(North Falmouth, MA), each scored two goals in the win. Freshman
goalie Micaela Morris (Barrington, RI) made two saves between
the pipes to earn the victory. |

Jill Ciccariello (Waltham, MA) scored twice and sophomore goalie
Colleen Kroczewski (Easthampton, MA) made nine saves in a
losing effort for the Blazers. |
