KEENE STATE STAYS UNBEATEN IN LITTLE EAST PLAY
|

Providence, RI--Keene State College remained undefeated in the
Little East Conference as the Owls defeated Rhode Island College,
14-4, in collegiate women's lacrosse action. KSC is 7-2 overall and
2-0 in the LEC. RIC falls to 4-3 overall and 0-2 in the LEC. |

KSC junior
Michelle Mason (Fairport, NY) was the offensive star with three
goals and four assists for seven points. Sophomore Kristal
Lundegaard (Babylon, NY) had two goals, including the game-winner,
and four assists for six points. Sophomore Colleen Murphy
(Mansfield, MA) had four goals and one assist for five points.
Senior goalie Jamie Litch (Addison, VT) wasn't tested often,
but made three saves to earn the win. |

Junior
Danielle Beaudry (West Greenwich, RI) had two goals and an assist
in a losing effort for RIC. Freshman goalie Micaela Morris
(Barrington, RI) made 19 saves. |
