Providence, RI—Rhode Island College improved to 1-0 on the season by defeating Plymouth State 34-15 in collegiate wrestling action. The loss was PSU’s first of the season as the Panthers fall to 0-1.

RIC jumped out to a commanding 28-0 lead, picking up three pins and a forfeit. The Panthers took the next four matches, but the Anchormen’s early lead was too much to overcome.

RIC is off for the holidays. The Anchormen will resume the season at the Citrus Invitational/Duals in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Dec. 29-30.
