Rhode Island College Women’s Indoor Track Update #2

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team competed at the Harvard Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 13. No team scores were kept at the meet.

Sophomore Dana Skorupa (Cumberland, RI) finished eighth in the 400 meters with a time of 1:01.03. She placed 11^th in the 55 meters with a time of 7.65. She placed tenth in the 200 meters with a time of 26.97 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 6.

Junior Kate McCalligett (Warwick, RI) finished tenth in the 400 meters with a time of 1:02.06. She placed 14^th in the 200 meter with a time of 24.46. She placed sixth in the 400 meters with a time of 1:02.60 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 6.

Junior Derrah-Lynn Cameron (Attleboro, MA) finished eighth in the long jump with a distance of 4.15 meters. She placed 26^th in the weight throw with a distance of 26’11.00” and placed 11^th in the long jump with a mark of 12’05.00” at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 6.

RIC is off for finals and the Christmas Break. In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the Yale Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 10.
