Rhode Island College Men’s Cross Country

Providence, RI--Head
Coach Kevin Jackson’s team placed second (four teams) with a
score of 64 points at the Rhode Island Collegiate Invitational, which
was hosted by the Community College of Rhode Island, on Thursday,
Sept. 8. The Naval Academy Prep School won the meet with 19 points. |

Junior Tim Goodwin (Warwick,
RI) was the
Anchormen’s top runner, placing fourth overall with a time of 30:07. |
|
|
|
Freshman Greg Clark (Pawtucket,
RI) placed 11th
with a time of 32:18. |
|
|
|
Freshman Mike Van Gieson
(Foster, RI) finished 12th with a time of 32:37. |
|
|
|
Sophomore Andy Neil (Warwick,
RI) placed 16th
with a time of 33:24. |
|
|
|
Freshman Mike Sarazin (Pawtucket,
RI) finished 23rd
with a time of 35:21. |
|
|
|
In upcoming action, RIC will
compete at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 18. |
