Providence, RI--Head
Coach Kevin Jackson’s
squad did not place as a team at the Little East Conference/MASCAC
Alliance Championships, hosted by UMass-Dartmouth on Saturday, Oct.
30. Keene State won both the Alliance and Little East Championships
with scores of 24 and 20, respectively.

Freshman
Katelyn Courtot (Smithfield, RI)
was RIC’s
top runner at the Alliance Championships, placing 23rd with
a time of 20:48. Courtot was RIC’s top runner at the RWU Invitational,
placing 19th with a time of 21:40 on Oct 9. She was the
Anchorwomen’s top runner at the Ray Dwyer Invitational with a time of
22:00 on Sept. 25.

Freshman
Michelle Batchelder (Vernon, CT)
placed 25th
with a time of 20:53 at the Alliance Championships. Batchelder placed
46th
with a time of 17:32 at the Plansky Invitational on Oct. 23. She
placed 24th at the RWU Invitational with a time of 21:57 on
Oct. 9. She finished 35th at the Ray Dwyer Invitational
with a time of 22:08 on Sept. 25. She was the Anchorwomen’s lone
runner, placing 10th overall with a time of 23:20 at the
Ocean State Invitational on Sept. 9.

Samantha Simone (Coventry, RI)
finished 56th at the Ray Dwyer Invitational with a time of
24:43 on Sept. 25.

In upcoming
action RIC will compete at the ECAC Div. III Championships, hosted by
Tufts University, on Saturday, Nov. 6.
