|

Providence, RI—Third-seeded
Rhode Island College shut out sixth-seeded Johnson and Wales, 1-0, in
a first round game of the 2004 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC)
Men’s Soccer Tournament. RIC will host seventh-seeded UMass-Dartmouth,

well, on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. |

|
RIC junior Kyle Teixeira (Warren,
RI) scored his 22nd

the tourney. Teixeira out-hustled a JWU defender, faked the goalkeeper
and tucked a shot in the top, right-hand corner in the 60th
minute. |

Anchorman freshman goalkeeper
Jadon Neves (Warren,
RI) made three
saves and picked up his sixth shutout of the season. JWU sophomore

losing effort. |

RIC is now 12-8-2, while the
loss drops JWU to 11-9-1. The Anchormen have the most wins in a season
