Rhode Island College Women’s Lacrosse Update #1

(1-0 Overall; 0-0 in the Little East)

Providence, RI--Head Coach Ryan Angel’s team is 1-0 overall and has yet to face a Little East Conference opponent. RIC defeated Worcester State, 19-3, in their only action last week.

Sophomore center Caitlin Gavin (Portsmouth, RI) has played and started in one game. She has a team-high nine points and a team-best eight goals. Gavin also has compiled a team-high 11 shots, all on goal, and four draw controls to go along with three ground balls. For her efforts, she has been named the Little East Conference Player of the Week.

Senior attack Danielle Beaudry (West Greenwich, RI) has played and started in one game. She has eight points on three goals and a team-high five assists. Beaudry has compiled three shots, all on goal, one ground ball and two draw controls.

Freshman attack Melissa Reggio (Commack, NY) has played and started in one game. She has five points on three goals and two assists. Reggio has compiled seven shots, all on goal, one ground ball and three draw controls.

Junior attack Crystal Colagiovanni (Johnston, RI) has played and started in one game. She has four points on four goals. Colagiovanni has compiled seven shots, all on goal, three ground balls and one draw control.

Freshman attack Krista Mackinnon (Exeter, RI) has played and started in one game. She has one point on one goal. Mackinnon has compiled one shot on goal and one ground ball.

Freshman attack Kerry McDevitt (Jamestown, RI) has played and started in one game. She has one point on one assist. McDevitt has compiled two ground balls.

Freshman attack Kerry Donahue (Rehoboth, MA) has played in one game. Donahue has compiled two shots on goal.

Freshman defender Leah Hayes (Coventry, RI) has played and started in one game. Hayes has compiled one shot on goal and a team-high eight ground balls.

Freshman defender Marissa Kielbasinski (Windsor, CT) has played and started in one game. Kielbasinski has compiled two ground balls.

Freshman defender Erin Duffy (North Dighton, MA) has played in one game. Duffy has compiled one ground ball.

Freshman defender Sydney Culbertson (North Kingstown, RI) has played and started in one game. Culbertson has compiled five ground balls.

Senior defender Erika Babat (North Kingstown, RI) has played and started in one game. Babat has compiled one ground ball.

Sophomore goalkeeper Micaela Morris (Barrington, RI) has played and started in one game. She has a record of 1-0 and has compiled nine saves, a save percentage of .750 and a goals against average of 3.00.

Sophomore defender Megahn McKervey (Mansfield, MA) has played and started in one game. McKervey has compiled one draw control.

In upcoming action, the Anchorwomen will play at Roger Williams on Thursday, Mar. 31 at 4 p.m.
