Women’s Lacrosse Update #4

Providence, RI--Head
Coach Ryan Angel’s team is 4-4 overall and 0-4 in the Little
East Conference. The Anchorwomen played two games last week, both of
which were against LEC competition. RIC lost, 15-7, at Southern Maine,
on Thursday, Apr. 14 and at Plymouth State, 14-2, on Saturday, Apr.
16. |

Sophomore center Caitlin Gavin (Portsmouth,
RI)
has played in eight games, starting all of them. She has a team-high
45 points and a team-best 36 goals to go along with nine assists.
Gavin has also compiled a team-high 75 shots, 63 on goal, 38 draw
controls and 42 ground balls. She has been named the Little East
Conference Player of the Week once this season. |

Senior attack Danielle Beaudry (West
Greenwich, RI)
has played in eight games, starting all of them. She has 20 points on
ten goals and a team-high ten assists. Beaudry has compiled 26 shots,
22 on goal, 33 ground balls and 11 draw controls. |

Freshman attack Melissa Reggio (Commack,
NY)
has played in eight games, starting all of them. She has 23 points on
15 goals and eight assists. Reggio has compiled 38 shots, 32 on goal,
20 ground balls and ten draw controls. |

|
Junior attack Crystal Colagiovanni (Johnston,
RI)
has played in eight games, starting six of them. She has 14 points on
13 goals and one assist. Colagiovanni has compiled 33 shots, 25 on
goal, 27 ground balls and 12 draw controls. |

Freshman attack Krista MacKinnon (Exeter,
RI)
has played in eight games, starting all of them. She has four points
on three goals and one assist. MacKinnon has compiled eight shots,
seven on goal, 17 ground balls and one draw control. |

|
Freshman attack Kerry McDevitt (Jamestown,
RI)
has played in eight games, starting seven of them. She has five points
on two goals and three assists. McDevitt has compiled four shots,
three on goal, and 12 ground balls. |

Freshman defender Leah Hayes (Coventry,
RI)
has played in eight games, starting all of them. She has five points
on three goals and two assists. Hayes has compiled 11 shots, eight on
goal and 31 ground balls to go along with 11 draw controls. |

Freshman defender Marissa Kielbasinski (Windsor,
CT)
has played in seven games, starting six of them. Kielbasinski has
compiled 22 ground balls and two draw controls. |

Freshman defender Erin Duffy (North
Dighton, MA)
has played in eight games, starting four of them. Duffy has compiled
ten ground balls and two draw controls. |

Freshman defender Sydney Culbertson (North Kingstown, RI) has
played in eight games, starting all of them. Culbertson has four
shots, three on goal, 27 ground balls and one draw control. |

Senior defender Erika Babat (North Kingstown, RI) has played in
eight games, starting all of them. Babat has compiled 26 ground balls
and three draw controls. |

|
Sophomore goalkeeper Micaela Morris (Barrington, RI) has played
in eight games, starting all of them. She has a record of 4-4 and has
made 78 saves, logged a save percentage of .484 and has a goals
against average of 10.25. |

|
Freshman attack Kerry Donahue (Rehoboth, MA) has played in
seven games, starting two of them. She has one point on one goal. She
has seven shots, five on goal, seven ground balls and one draw
control. |
|
|
|
In upcoming action, the Anchorwomen will play four games this week,
three of which will be at home. RIC will host Curry on Monday, Apr.
18, host Nichols on Thursday, Apr. 21 and Western Connecticut on
Saturday, Apr. 23. RIC will travel to Elms on Tuesday, Apr. 19. |
