Rhode Island College Women’s Indoor Track & Field Update #2

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team competed at the Harvard University Invitational on Dec. 11. No team scores were kept at the meet.

Senior Kate McCalligett (Warwick, RI) placed 11^th in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.49. She placed 15th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.38 and eighth in the 400 meters with a time of 1:01.91 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 4.

Junior Dana Skorupa (Cumberland, RI) placed 12^th in the 200 meters with a time of 26.96. She placed ninth in the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.64 and 13^th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.25 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 4.

Freshman Kelly Evans (Coventry, RI) placed 12^th in the triple jump and 16^th in the long jump with leaps of 9.76 meters and 4.77 meters, respectively. She placed 12^th in the long jump with a distance of 14’03.25” at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 4.

Freshman Michelle Batchelder (Vernon, CT) placed ninth in the 3,000 meters with a time of 11:52.07 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 4.

The Anchorwomen are off for finals and the holidays. They will resume competition at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 15.
