Patty Testa Named Assistant
Cross Country/Track & Field Coach
at Rhode Island College

 

Providence, RI—Rhode Island College has named Patty Testa as an assistant men’s and women’s cross country/track & field coach. Testa will assist Head Coach Kevin Jackson with all phases of those programs.

 

She was a three-sport student-athlete during her undergraduate days at Rhode Island College, running both indoor and outdoor track, as well as playing soccer.

 

Testa ran three seasons of indoor & outdoor track from 1998-00. A sprinter, her main events were the 100 and 200 meters, as well as the 4x200 relay.

 

Testa played four seasons of women’s soccer at Rhode Island College from 1996-99. As a forward, she totaled four goals for eight career points.

 

She is a 2000 graduate of Rhode Island College, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting. In addition to her coaching duties, Testa is certified public accountant and works for the Rhode Island Auditor General.

 

She resides in Cranston, Rhode Island with her husband Joe, who is RIC’s head men’s tennis coach.
