Notables |
|
•
The
Anchorwomen were one of the few teams in New England who were able to
squeeze in a game last week despite the intense weather that ravaged
the Northeast. Unfortunately for RIC, the Anchorwomen saw a six-game
winning streak come to an end in a 4-1 loss at Bridgewater State on
Wednesday, Oct. 12. Sophomore midfielder Krista MacKinnon (Exeter,
RI)
scored the club’s only goal, while sophomore midfielder Leah Hayes
(Coventry,
RI)
and junior
midfielder Caitlin Gavin (Portsmouth,
RI)
were credited
with assists. Freshman goalkeeper Krissie Pyzynski (Bristol,
CT)
made four stops in a losing effort. |

•
RIC’s
scheduled game at Keene State on Saturday, Oct. 15 was postponed and
will now be played on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. |
