Men’s Soccer To Face Spartans in
ECAC Tournament First Round

Providence, RI--Head Coach John Mello’s second-seeded Anchormen will host seventh-seeded Castleton State in the first round of the ECAC New England Div. III Men’s Soccer Tournament on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 1:30 p.m.

This is the third consecutive season the Anchormen have been selected to participate in the ECAC Tournament.

The rest of the field includes top-seeded Clark, third-seeded Plymouth State, fourth-seeded Norwich, fifth-seeded Lasell, sixth-seeded Albertus Magnus and eighth-seeded Wentworth.

The Anchormen are 9-5-5 overall and were 4-1-2 (second place) in the Little East Conference. RIC lost on penalty kicks against Western Connecticut in the Championship Game of the 2005 Little East Conference Men’s Soccer Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 5.
