Dana Skorupa Named Little East Conference Women’s Indoor Track & Field
Athlete of the Week

Providence, RI—Rhode Island College senior Dana Skorupa (Cumberland, RI) was named the Little East Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week after her performance at the Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 14.

Skorupa placed first in the finals of the 55 meters with a time of 7.54, as well as a first place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 27.29. She also took home first place honors in the long jump with a 5.22 meter effort.

Skorupa is an elementary education major with a concentration in special education and a 2002 graduate of Cumberland High School.

Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team will compete at Tufts on Saturday, Jan. 21.
