Coach Spencer Manning’s team is 7-9 overall and 0-7 in the
Little East Conference. RIC is currently in last place in the Little
East Conference. |

Anchorwomen
Notables |
|
• RIC has not
won a conference game this season. The last time the Anchorwomen
opened a season without a win in their first seven conference games
was in 2001-02. RIC won its next LEC game that year and finished the
season with a 5-20 overall record and a 2-12 mark in the conference. |
|
• RIC has lost
seven of its last eight games. Four of those losses have come by less
than six points. |
|
• Junior
forward Kari Geisler (Deerfield, NH) currently has 632 career
rebounds, which ranks her third all-time at RIC. She needs 15 rebounds
to surpass Jackie Hultquist’s ’83 career total of 646 and move
into sole possession of second place. She needs 22 more points for 750
in her career. Geisler leads the Little East in rebounding, averaging
10.8 rpg. |

• Senior guard
Jamie Angell (Cranston,
RI)
leads the team in scoring, assists, steals and free throw percentage.
Angell scored her 600th career point at RIC in the
Anchorwomen’s, 67-61, loss at Western Connecticut on Jan. 17. Angell
leads the Little East in three-point field goal percentage and free
throw percentage with marks of .392 and .868, respectively. She is
second in the conference in scoring, averaging 14.4 ppg. |

• Sophomore
forward Colleen Feeney (Providence,
RI)
is second in the Little East with 18 blocked shots and is third in
rebounding, averaging 8.5 rpg. |

CONFERENCE ACCOLADES: Kari Geisler (11/21, 12/5), Jamie Angell
(12/12, 1/17) and Colleen Feeney (1/9) have been named to the Little
East Conference Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll on the season. |
