Rhode Island College Women’s Cross
Country
Places 34th at ECAC
Championships

Williamstown, MA—The
Rhode Island College women’s cross country team placed 34th
overall (35 Teams) with a score of 1,011 at the Eastern College
Athletic Conference Div. III New England Cross Country Championships,
hosted by Williams College on Saturday, Nov. 4. Amherst won the meet
with a score of 37. |

Freshman Elizabeth Ann Glunt (Altoona, PA) was RIC’s top
finisher at the meet, placing 185th with a time of 28:51.
Sophomore Hannah Clark (Attleboro, MA) placed 201st
with a time of 29:22, freshman Christine Smith (Foster, RI)
placed 221st with a time of 30:44, junior Maria Valletta
(Cranston, RI) placed 230th with a time of 33:15 and
freshman Lindsey Genovesi (West Warwick, RI) rounded out the
RIC contingent, placing 240th with a time of 40:48.

upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the New England
Div. III Regional Championships, hosted by Springfield College on
Saturday, Nov. 11. |
