Rhode Island College Women’s Cross Country Places 47^th at NCAA N.E. Regional Championships

Springfield, MA—The Rhode Island College women’s cross country team placed 47^th overall (48 Teams) with a score of 1,387 at the NCAA New England Regional Cross Country Championships, hosted by Springfield College on Saturday, Nov. 11. Middlebury won the meet with a score of 73.

Sophomore Hannah Clark (Attleboro, MA) was RIC’s top runner, placing  252^nd with a time of 29:03. Freshman Elizabeth Ann Glunt (Altoona, PA) placed 274^th with a time of 30:06, freshman Christine Smith (Foster, RI) placed 292^nd with a time of 32:00, junior Maria Valletta (Cranston, RI) placed 303^rd with a time of 33:21 and freshman Lindsey Genovesi (West Warwick, RI) rounded out the RIC contingent, placing 318^th with a time of 41:37.
