Rhode Island College’s Softball Coaching Staff

Earns NFCA Regional Honor

Providence, RI—The National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association named Rhode Island College Head Softball Coach Maria Morin, along with Associate Head Coach Ken Stanley and Assistant Coach Kristen Norberg, the 2007 New England Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

The Anchorwomen went 41-7 and placed seventh at the 2007 NCAA Div. III National Championships. RIC captured its third consecutive Little East Conference regular season championship, its second LEC Tournament title and won the NCAA Div. III New England Region for the first time in program history. Rhode Island College established a new school record for wins in a season and logged a program-record 22-game winning streak.
