On Dec. 5,
Storti scored a season-high 17 points all in the second half,
including five-of-six from long range, as the Anchorwomen defeated
intra-state rival Johnson & Wales, 65-59. She also dished out two
assists in just 19 minutes of action. Storti continued her stellar
shooting over the weekend. She recorded seven of her nine points in
the second stanza as Rhode Island College turned a one-point deficit
at the intermission into a 15-point victory at Little East rival
Plymouth State University on Dec. 9. Storti also pulled in two
rebounds, handed out a pair of helpers, and redirected a shot as the
Anchorwomen earned their first conference victory and third
consecutive overall. |
