Bailey Banks Honor Roll Accolades |

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Rhode
Island College sophomore guard Bobby Bailey (Fall River, Mass.)
earned a spot on the Little East Conference Honor Roll this afternoon.
He averaged 14.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 blocks, and
2.0 steals as the Anchormen turned in a perfect 3-0 week, including a
pair of victories over intra-state rivals. |

On Dec. 9,
Bailey registered his first collegiate double-double, scoring 21
points and pulling in 10 rebounds, in a 91-89 double overtime victory
at conference rival Plymouth State University. He also recorded a
season-high five blocks, while dishing out four assists as the
Anchormen earned their first League win. Two days earlier, Bailey
netted a team-high 19 points, including three-of-six from long range,
as the Rhode Island College defeated Salve Regina, 84-78. |

Among the
Little East leaders, Bailey ranks third in assist-to-turnover ratio
(1.47), while eighth in blocks (1.00 bpg) and ninth in assists (3.14
apg). He is second on the team in assists (22), total rebounds (36),
and steals (13), while fourth in scoring (10.7 ppg). |

Under the
leadership of Head Coach Bob Walsh, Rhode Island College has
posted an overall record of 6-1, the program’s best start since the
1996-97 team also opened the season with a 6-1 mark. The Anchormen
travel to Coast Guard on Dec. 12. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. |
