RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE INVITES YOU TO ATTEND THEIR
|
“TAKE A KID TO THE GAME” PROGRAM
|
|

PROVIDENCE,
R.I.–Come
out to The Murray Center on the campus of Rhode Island College on
January 13, when the women’s and men’s basketball teams are
in action against UMass Boston. All area children are invited
to attend the upcoming scheduled “Take A Kid to the Game day.” Kids
will have an opportunity to experience the college game-day atmosphere
when Rhode Island College hosts NCAA Basketball’s ninth
annual Take A Kid to the Game® (TAKG) day celebration. Children, ages
12 and younger, will receive a FREE ticket with the
purchase of a full-priced adult ticket ($3), to watch the Anchorwomen
and Anchormen take on Little East Conference rival Beacons at
The Murray Center. The Anchorwomen tip off at 1 p.m., while the
Anchormen follow at 3 p.m. |

Rhode
Island College is hosting one of more than 700 games that will be
played across the nation this season as part of the Take A Kid to the
Game program. The project is a grass roots initiative that attracts
the nation’s youth and encourages adults to take kids to area college
basketball games. |

for this special game which are available now can be reserved by
