Rhode Island College Softball Honored by Words Unlimited |

Unlimited honored Rhode Island College Head Softball Coach Maria
Morin and the 2006 team at its annual banquet, held at the
Radisson Airport Hotel on Sunday, Feb. 18
Words Unlimited is an organization made up of Rhode Island’s sports
media journalists and publicists. |

Morin received
the organization’s Co-Female Coach of the Year Award, sharing the
honor with Providence College Head Field Hockey Coach Diane Madl. |
|
|
|
The 2006 Rhode Island College Softball Team received the Vin Cullen
College Small Achievement Award and the R.I.A.I.A.W. Outstanding
Athletic Achievement Awards. |
|
|
|
Morin was named the Little East Conference Co-Coach of the Year in
2006 as she guided the Anchorwomen to a 35-8-1 overall record and to
both the Little East Regular Season and Tournament Championships. |
