Kern & Botwick Tie for Medalist Honors

Providence, RI—Rhode Island College improved its record to 4-3 in a 318-325 win over Brandeis Wednesday afternoon at Triggs Memorial Golf Course.

Rhode Island College sophomore Barrett Kern (Pawtucket, RI) and Brandeis senior Alex Botwick (West Hartford, CT) posted the low score on the day with a 75. RIC junior R.J. Tassoni (Warwick, RI) was third with a 77, while Brandeis junior Aaron Hattenbach (Santa Monica, CA) was fourth at 78.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 22 and 23.
