PLACES 27TH AT ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS |

Williamstown, MA –
The Rhode Island College women’s cross country team placed 27th
(31 teams) with a team score of 697 at the Eastern College Athletic
Conference (ECAC) New England Div. III Championships, hosted by
Williams on Saturday, Nov. 3. Williams won the title with a score of
47. |

Freshman
Katie Desrosiers (Warwick, RI) was RIC’s top runner, placing 89th
(242 competitors) with a time of 25:59. |

Freshman
Heather Feeney (Warwick, RI) placed 138th with a time
of 27:01. Freshman Lindsey Brisson (Coventry, RI) placed 150th
with a time of 27:15. Freshman Rachael Procter (East Providence,
RI) placed 177th with a time of 28:15. Freshman
Nicole Poirier (Concord, NH) placed 184th with a time
of 28:29. Sophomore Christine Smith (Foster, RI) placed 197th
with a time of 28:52. |
