Five From Rhode Island College
Receive
Little East Conference Women’s Soccer Awards
|

|
Providence,
RI—Five
members of the Rhode Island College women’s soccer team were
recognized by the Little East Conference for their performance this
past fall. |
|
|
|
|
|
Senior
defender Kerry Donahue (Rehoboth, MA) was named First Team
All-Little East Conference. She was also named the women’s soccer
team’s MVP. She played in 20 games, starting all of them. Donahue
logged three goals and one assist for seven points on the season.
She helped the Anchorwomen record four shutouts and post a 1.69
goals-against average. |

She is an early childhood education major with a
concentration in special education and a 2004 graduate of
Dighton-Rehoboth High School. |
|
|
|

|
|
Senior forward Lindsay Laurie (Warwick, RI)
was named First Team All-Little East Conference. She played in 18
games, starting 17 of them. She led the team with 15 points, tied
for first with five goals and tied for second with five assists.
Laurie logged two game-winning goals and was fourth on the team with
38 shots. |

She is a criminal justice major and a 2004 graduate
of Veterans High School. |

Senior forward Brittney Godbout (Cranston, RI)
was named Second Team All-Little East Conference. She played in 18
games, starting 17 of them. Godbout tied for the team lead with five
goals, while ranking second with 14 points. She tied for fourth on
the team with four assists. Godbout led the Anchorwomen with 44
shots and registered one game-winning goal on the year. |

She is an elementary education major with a
concentration in special education and a 2004 graduate of Cranston
High School East. |

|
Senior midfielder Krista MacKinnon (Exeter, RI)
was named Second Team All-Little East Conference. She played in 20
games, starting all of them. MacKinnon posted two goals and five
assists for nine points. She was fifth on the club with 33 shots,
while tying for second with five assists. |

|
|
She is an elementary education major with a
concentration in special education and a 2004 graduate of
Exeter-West Greenwich High School. |
|
|
|

|
|
Senior defender Mallary Bileau (Woonsocket, RI)
was named Second Team All-Little East Conference. She played in 17
games, starting all of them, posting one assist for one point.
She helped the Anchorwomen record four shutouts and
post a 1.69 goals-against average. |

She is a psychology major and a 2004 graduate of
Woonsocket High School. |
|
|
|

|
|
|
Head Coach Denis Chartier’s team posted a
10-9-1 overall record and a 4-3 (fourth place) mark in the Little
East Conference. The club’s four league wins were the most in
program history for a single season. |
