PLACES
FOURTH AT SILFEN INVITATIONAL

London, CT—The
Rhode Island College women’s outdoor track and field team placed
third (12 teams) with a score of 106.0 at the Silfen Invitational,
hosted by Connecticut College on Saturday afternoon. |

Sophomore
Stephanie Bucci (Smithfield, RI) placed first in the hammer
(42.43m), fourth in the shot (10.22m) and sixth in the discus
(31.02m). |

Kayla Fleming (Pawtucket, RI) placed first in the high jump
(1.55m), second in the 800 meters (2:26.79) and sixth in the long
jump (4.66m). |

Sophomore Brooke Iby (Dracut, MA) placed first
in the triple jump with a 10.70-meter effort. She also placed third
in the 400 meters with a time of 1:03.49. |
