NOEL PLACES THIRD OVERALL AT
STERLING INVITATIONAL

Sterling,
MA—Rhode
Island College junior Lionel Noel (West Warwick, RI) tied for
third overall with a 77 as the Anchormen placed 12th (13
teams) with a score of 351 at the Sterling Invitational, hosted by
Worcester State at Sterling Country Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Nichols won the event with a score of 313. |

Freshman
Derek Jensen (Cumberland, RI) tied for 14th with an
80. Freshman Steve Zahn (West Warwick, RI) tied for 58th
with a 96, while junior Tim Davis (Rochester, NY) was
two shots back in 60th place. |

In upcoming
action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Johnson & Wales
Invitational on Friday, Apr. 25. |
