ALL-NEW ENGLAND HONORS
|

New London,
Conn.—The
Rhode Island College women’s outdoor track and field team placed 18th
(28 teams) with a score of 10.0 at the New England Div. III
Championships, hosted by Coast Guard May 1-3. |

Junior
Kayla Fleming (Pawtucket, RI) earned All-New England honors in
the high jump, placing third with a 1.55-meter effort. She also
placed 10th as part of the 4x400 meter relay with a time
of 4:19.38. |

Sophomore
Brooke Iby (Dracut, MA) earned All-New England honors in the
triple jump, placing eighth with a 10.47-meter effort. She also
placed 10th as part of the 4x400 meter relay with a time
of 4:19.38 and 15th as part of the 4x100 meter relay,
which finished 15th with a time of 53.31. |
