THREE ON ALL-LITTLE EAST CONFERENCE TEAMS

had three student-athletes named to the 2008 Little East Conference
Women’s Lacrosse All-Star Teams. |
|

|
Senior
midfielder Sydney Culbertson (North Kingstown, RI) was named
Second Team All-Little East Conference. She played in 15 games,
starting all of them. Culbertson had 37 goals and 22 assists for 59
points to go along with 29 ground balls, 30 draw controls and seven
caused turnovers. She led the team in goals, assists, points and
shots (76), while ranking second in draw controls. Culbertson scored
the game-winning goal in two of the Anchorwomen’s three wins this
spring. |

Senior
midfielder Kerry McDevitt (Jamestown, RI) was named Second
Team All-Little East Conference. She played in 15 games, starting
all of them. McDevitt had 23 goals and 13 assists for 36 points to
go along with 43 ground balls, 22 draw controls and six caused
turnovers. She was second on the club in goals, assists, points,
shots (70) and ground balls. |

Senior
defender Erin Duffy (North Dighton, MA) was named Second Team
All-Little East Conference. She played in 15 games, starting all of
them. Duffy had one goal for one point to go along with 30 ground
balls, two draw controls and 10 caused turnovers, ranking second on
the team. |

Head Coach
Denis Chartier’s Anchorwomen finished the season with a 3-12
overall record and a 1-5 (fifth place tie) mark in the Little East
Conference. |
