2007 Rhode Island College Women’s Cross Country
Season Summary

Providence, RI— Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team finished the 2007 season with a 35^th place (47 teams) finish at the NCAA New England Regional Championships, hosted by Connecticut College on Saturday, Nov. 10 with a team score of 1,025.0

The Anchorwomen placed 27^th (31 teams) at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships, hosted by Williams College on Saturday, Nov. 3 with 697.0 points.

RIC placed seventh (11 teams) in the Alliance and third (five teams) in the Little East Conference with scores of 204.0 and 95.0, respectively, at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships, hosted by UMass Dartmouth on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Junior Hannah Clark (Attleboro, MA) placed 118th with a time of 26:40 at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Oct. 27. She placed 24^th with a time of 26:58 (shortened course) at Eastern Connecticut on Oct. 13. Clark placed 82nd with a time of 26:42 at the Roger Williams Invitational on Oct. 6. She placed 50th with a season-best time of 25:28 at the Tri State Invitational on Sept. 29. Clark placed 35th with a time of 26:02 at the Ray Dwyer Invitational on Sept. 22.

Sophomore Kendra DeGiulio (Warwick, RI) placed 115th with a season-best time of 24:08 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 15.

Sophomore Christine Smith (Foster, RI) placed 278th with a time of 27:56 at the NCAA N.E. Regional on Nov. 10. She placed 197th with a time of 28:52 at the ECAC Championships on Nov. 3. Smith placed 78th with a season-best time of 22:50 at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Oct. 27. She placed 16^th with a time of 23:34 (shortened course) at Eastern Connecticut on Oct. 13. Smith placed 38th with a time of 23:33 at the Roger Williams Invitational on Oct. 6. She placed 38th with a time of 23:55 at the Tri State Invitational on Sept. 29.

Freshman Lindsey Brisson (Coventry, RI) placed 260th with a time of 27:23 at the NCAA N.E. Regional on Nov. 10. She placed 150th with a time of 27:15 at the ECAC Championships on Nov. 3. Brisson placed 63rd with a season-best time of 22:11 at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Oct. 27. She placed 13^th with a time of 23:08 (shortened course) at Eastern Connecticut on Oct. 13. She placed 31st with a time of 23:12 at the Roger Williams Invitational on Oct. 6. Brisson placed 22nd with a time of 23:09 at the Tri State Invitational on Sept. 29. She placed 21st with a time of 23:02 at the Ray Dwyer Invitational on Sept. 22.

Freshman Hope Clark (Attleboro, MA) placed 92nd with a season-best time of 23:36 at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Oct. 27. She placed 20^th with a time of 24:24 (shortened course) at Eastern Connecticut on Oct. 13. Clark placed 76th with a time of 25:54 at the Roger Williams Invitational on Oct. 6. She placed 46th with a time of 24:50 at the Tri State Invitational on Sept. 29. Clark placed 32nd with a time of 24:37 at the Ray Dwyer Invitational on Sept. 22. She placed 126th with a time of 24:35 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 15.

Freshman Kathryn Cote (Greenville, RI) placed 191st with a time of 25:51 at the NCAA N.E. Regional on Nov. 10. She was RIC’s top runner, placing 27th with a season-best time of 20:58, at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Oct. 27. Cote placed fifth with a time of 21:56 (shortened course) at Eastern Connecticut on Oct. 13. She was RIC’s top runner, placing 17th with a time of 22:25, at the Roger Williams Invitational on Oct. 6. Cote was RIC’s top runner, placing 10th with a time of 22:13, at the Tri State Invitational on Sept. 29. She placed 17th with a time of 22:29 at the Ray Dwyer Invitational on Sept. 22. Cote placed 64th with a time of 22:01 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 15.

Freshman Ashley Delamare (Smithfield, RI) placed 91st with a season-best time of 23:31 at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Oct. 27. She placed 19^th with a time of 24:03 (shortened course) at Eastern Connecticut on Oct. 13. Delamare placed 65th with a time of 24:51 at the Roger Williams Invitational on Oct. 6. She placed 33rd with a time of 23:39 at the Tri State Invitational on Sept. 29. Delamare placed 28th with a time of 24:04 at the Ray Dwyer Invitational on Sept. 22. She placed 101st with a time of 23:24 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 15.

Freshman Katie Desrosiers (Warwick, RI) was RIC’s top runner, placing 175th (344 runners) with a time of 25:33 at the NCAA N.E. Regional on Nov. 10. She was RIC’s top runner, placing 89th (242 competitors) with a time of 25:59, at the ECAC Championships on Nov. 3. Desrosiers placed 41st with a season-best time of 21:25 at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Oct. 27. She placed seventh with a time of 22:37 (shortened course) at Eastern Connecticut on Oct. 13. Desrosiers placed 19th with a time of 22:33 at the Roger Williams Invitational on Oct. 6. She placed 21st with a time of 23:08 at the Tri State Invitational on Sept. 29. Desrosiers was RIC’s top finisher, placing 16th with a time of 22:21, at the Ray Dwyer Invitational on Sept. 22. She was RIC's top finisher, placing 57th with a time of 21:54, at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 15.

Freshman Heather Feeney (Warwick, RI) placed 212th with a time of 26:26 at the NCAA N.E. Regional on Nov. 10. She placed 138th with a time of 27:01 at the ECAC Championships on Nov. 3. Feeney placed 54th with a season-best time of 21:52 at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Oct. 27. She placed eighth with a time of 22:47 (shortened course) at Eastern Connecticut on Oct. 13. Feeney placed 34th with a time of 23:21 at the Roger Williams Invitational on Oct. 6. She placed 20th with a time of 23:06 at the Tri State Invitational on Sept. 29. Feeney placed 18th with a time of 22:43 at the Ray Dwyer Invitational on Sept. 22. She placed 73rd with a time of 22:10 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 22.

Freshman Rachael Johnson (Wakefield, RI) placed 88th with a season-best time of 22:40 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 15.

Freshman Nicole Poirier (Concord, NH) placed 226th with a time of 26:44 at the NCAA N.E. Regional on Nov. 10. She placed 184th with a time of 28:29 at the ECAC Championships on Nov. 3. Poirier placed 74th with a season-best time of 22:48 at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Oct. 27. She placed 17^th with a time of 23:44 (shortened course) at Eastern Connecticut on Oct. 13. Poirier placed 39th with a time of 23:33 at the Roger Williams Invitational on Oct. 6. She placed 39th with a time of 23:58 at the Tri State Invitational on Sept. 29. Poirier placed 29th with a time of 24:11 at the Ray Dwyer Invitational on Sept. 22. She  placed 146th with a time of 25:51 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 15.

Freshman Rachael Procter (East Providence, RI) placed 253rd with a time of 27:07 at the NCAA N.E. Regional on Nov. 10. She placed 177th with a time of 28:15 at the ECAC Championships on Nov. 3. Procter placed 76th with a season-best time of 22:50 at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Oct. 27. She placed ninth with a time of 22:52 (shortened course) at Eastern Connecticut on Oct. 13. Procter placed 55th with a time of 24:05 at the Roger Williams Invitational on Oct. 6. She placed 43rd with a time of 24:19 at the Tri State Invitational on Sept. 29. Procter placed 34th with a time of 25:13 at the Ray Dwyer Invitational on Sept. 22. She placed 95th with a time of 23:11 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 15.
