Rhode Island College’s Cameron Stewart
Named to Little East Conference
Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

 

Providence, RI—Rhode Island College junior guard Cameron Stewart (Newport, RI) was named to the Little East Conference Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for his performance in two games last week.

 

Stewart came off the bench in a 1-1 week for the Anchormen, averaging 13.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. He logged 11 points as RIC downed Trinity, 70-68, on Dec. 11 and posted 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting (including four treys), in RIC’s, 79-77, loss at Springfield on Dec. 14.

 

 

 

Head Coach Bob Walsh’s team is 8-2 overall and 2-0 in the Little East Conference. Rhode Island College is off for finals and the holidays. The Anchormen will host Roger Williams on Monday, Jan. 7 in a game that will be televised by Cox Sports.
