Rhode Island College Women’s Lacrosse Update #6 |

(3-10 Overall; 0-6 in the Little East Conference) |

Providence, RI--Head
Coach Ryan Angel’s team finished the 2003 season with a
3-10 overall record and a 0-6 mark in the Little East Conference. In
action last week the Anchorwomen fell to UMass-Dartmouth, 16-8, on
Apr. 28. |

Sophomore center Amanda
Hutchins (Gilmanton, NH) played in 13 games, starting all of
them. She had 27 goals and three assists for 30 points, 31 ground
balls, six pass interceptions and 30 draw controls. |
|
|
|
Sophomore attackman Danielle Beaudry
(West Greenwich, RI) played in 13 games, starting all of them.
She had 15 goals and six assists for 21 points, 24 ground balls, one
pass interception and 22 draw controls. |

|
Freshman attackman Danielle
Egan (North Falmouth, MA) played in 13 games, starting all of
them. She had 17 goals for 17 points, 27 ground balls and 21 draw
controls. |

Freshman attack wing Ashley
Cardin (Cumberland, RI) played in 13 games, starting all of
them. She had six goals for six points, 28 ground balls, and six
draw controls. |

Freshman attack
wing/goalkeeper Crystal Colagiovanni (Johnston, RI) played in
13 games, starting all of them. She had three goals and two assists
for five points, 23 ground balls, and four draw controls. As a
goaltender, she played in nine games, starting eight of them. She
had 89 saves, a save percentage of .500 and a 12.14 goals against
average. |

Sophomore attackman Liz
Valeika (Woonsocket, RI) played in ten games, starting seven of
them. She had one goal and one assist for two points, four ground
balls and one draw control. |

Freshman defensive wing Cara
Fusco (Foster, RI) played in nine games, starting five of them.
She had one goal and two assists for three points, and three ground
balls. |

|
Sophomore defensive wing Erin
Grant (Coventry, RI) played in 13 games, starting all of them.
She had eight goals and one assist for nine points, 37 ground balls,
five pass interceptions and 15 draw controls. |

Junior center Kim
Wells (Granby, CT) played in 12 games, starting 11 of them. She
had two goals for two points, seven ground balls, and four draw
controls. |

Freshman defenseman Meghan
Lehman (Sunderland, MA) played in 12 games, starting all of
them. She had 22 ground balls, two draw controls and a pass
interception. |

|
|
Junior
defenseman/goalkeeper Kristin Mandsager (Portsmouth, RI) played
in ten games, starting eight of them. She had ten groundballs and
two draw controls. In goal she has 54 saves, a save percentage of
.403, and a GAA of 14.55. |

Freshman attack wing Jessica
Maher (Warwick, RI) played in 13 games, starting all of them.
She had three goals and three assists for six points, 18 ground
balls, and three draw controls. |

|
|
Freshman defensive wing Stephanie
Sullivan (Westerly, RI) played in 12 games, starting 11 of them.
She had three ground balls and two draw controls on the season. |

Sophomore defenseman Erika
Babat (North Kingstown, RI) played in nine games, starting all
of them. She had 28 ground balls, three pass interceptions and 13
