Rhode Island College Women’s Tennis Update #6

(8-5 Overall, Third Place at the Little East Championships)

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kelly Lange’s team is 8-5 overall and finished third at the Little East Championships on Oct. 11-12. The Anchorwomen have not seen any action since the LEC Championships.

Freshman Liz Barrette (North Providence, RI) is 9-5 (.643) at number one singles and 12-3 (.800) at number one doubles for a total of 15.0 points on the season.

Senior Donna Vongratsavay (North Providence, RI) is 12-3 (.800) at number two singles and 12-3 (.800) at number one doubles for a total of 18.0 points on the season.

Sophomore Meghan Mooney (Scituate, RI) is 6-4 (.600) at number three singles and 7-5 (.583) at number two doubles for a total of 9.5 points on the season.

Junior Samantha Hedden (Rumford, RI) is 6-6 (.500) at number four singles and 6-7 (.462) at number two doubles for a total of 9.0 points on the season.

Junior Kristin Mandsager (Portsmouth, RI) is 6-8 (.429) at number five singles and 8-6 (.571) at number three doubles for a total of 10.0 points on the season.

Senior Sara Hebert (Cumberland, RI) is 4-6 (.400) at number six singles and 6-6 (.500) at number three doubles for a total of 7.0 points on the season.

Junior Anabela Pereira (Pawtucket, RI) is 3-3 (.500) at number six singles and 2-2 (.500) at number three doubles for a total of 4.0 points on the season.

In upcoming action, RIC will play at Suffolk on Oct. 22 and host Wentworth on Oct. 23 to close out the season.
