Providence, RI-- Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team competed at the Yale Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 13. No team scores were kept at the meet. |

The Anchormen had a pair of runners place in the top five in the 800 meters, finishing higher than many Division I opponents. Freshman Emmanuel Karngar (Providence, RI) placed second in the 800 meters with a time of 1:55.23. Junior Tim Rudd (Warwick, RI) placed third in the 800 meters with a time of 2:00.04. |

Sophomore Joe Parenteau (Smithfield, RI) placed seventh in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:06.29. |

Sophomore Marc Piette (Woonsocket, RI) placed ninth in the weight throw with a distance of 45’02.50". |

Junior Joseph Padykula (Seekonk, MA) placed 21st in the weight throw with a distance of 36’06.25". |

Freshman Nick Palazzo (Providence, RI) placed 11th in the weight throw with a distance of 44’04.25". |

Freshman Richard Palazzo (Providence, RI) placed eighth in the weight throw with a distance of 34’05.50". |

In upcoming action, RIC will compete in the Greater Boston TC Meet, hosted by Harvard University on Jan. 19. |
