Rhode Island College Women’s Indoor Track Update #3

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team competed at the Yale Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 13. No team scores were kept at the meet.

Freshman Dana Skorupa (Cumberland, RI) placed 13^th in the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.71. She placed seventh in the 400 meters with a time of 1:02.89.

Sophomore Jessica Leonard (Warwick, RI) placed 15^th in the weight throw with a distance of 39’01.25".

Sophomore Kate McCalligett (Warwick, RI) placed 21^st in the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.91. She placed fifth in the 400 meters with a time of 1:02.46.

Junior Joanne Pora (Attleboro, MA) placed 26^th in the weight throw with a distance of 26’11.00".

In upcoming action, RIC will compete in the Greater Boston TC Meet, hosted by Harvard University on Jan. 19.
