Rhode Island College Women’s Indoor Track Update #4

Providence, RI-- Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team competed at the Greater Boston Track Invitational, hosted by Harvard University, on Sunday, Jan. 19. No Team scores were kept.

Sophomore Kate McCalligett (Warwick, RI) placed fifth in the 400 meters with a time of 1:01.41.

Sophomore Jessica Leonard (Warwick, RI) placed fifth in the weight throw with a distance of 41’11.25."

Freshman Kim Cadden (Warwick, RI) placed 24^th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:33.21.

Sophomore Rebecca Horton (Seekonk, MA) placed 35^th in the mile with a time of 6:03.99.

Junior Michele Dunphy (Cranston, RI) placed 34^th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:39.37.

Junior Joanne Pora (Attleboro, MA) placed eighth in the weight throw with a distance of 35’01.75."

Freshman Allison DeRoy (Smithfield, RI) placed 12^th in the weight throw with a distance of 21’11.75."

Freshman Dana Schmidt (North Scituate, RI) placed 52^nd in the preliminary of the 200 meters with a time of 34.87.

Freshman Tiffany Kirch (Hope, RI) placed 53^rd in the preliminary of the 200 meters with a time of 35.89.

Freshman Dana Skorupa (Cumberland, RI) placed 28^th in the preliminary of the 200 meters with a time of 27.52.
