Rhode Island College Men’s Indoor Track Update #5

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team competed at the Boston University Terrier Classic, on Saturday, Jan. 25. There were no team scores.

Freshman Emmanuel Karngar (Providence, RI) placed 13^th in the mile with a time of 4:24.80. He finished first among Div. III competitors. His time set a new Rhode Island College record.

Sophomore Joe Parenteau (Smithfield, RI) placed 25^th in the mile with a time of 4:29.91.

The distance medley team of Tim Rudd (Warwick, RI), Josh Precourt (Woonsocket, RI), Emmanuel Karngar and Joe Parenteau set a new school record with a time of 10:30.20

Sophomore Marc Piette (Woonsocket, RI) placed ninth in the weight throw with a distance of 45’11.75."
