Providence,
RI--Head
Coach Kevin Jackson’s team competed at the New England Div. III
Championships, hosted by MIT, on Feb 21-22. RIC finished 13th
(22 teams) with a score of 19. MIT won the meet with a score of 120. |

Freshman
Emmanuel Karngar (Providence,
RI)
earned All-New England honors in the 800 meters,
placing first with a time of 1:53.96 and breaking his own school
record in that event. Karngar also earned All-New England honors as
part of the distance medley relay team, which placed second with a
time of 10:30.54. |

Junior
Tim Rudd (Warwick,
RI)
earned All-New England honors in the 1,000 meters,
placing eighth with a time of 2:34.85. Rudd also earned All-New
England honors as part of the distance medley relay team, which placed
second with a time of 10:30.54. |

Joe Parenteau (Smithfield,

Josh Precourt
(Woonsocket, RI)
earned All-New England honors as part of the distance medley relay
team, which placed second with a time of 10:30.54. |
